Thanks. Capwages has an issue with the Cap percentages, I've noticed that before.Mackinnon got 15.27%. That would be 14.1m under a 92.5m cap.
Of course, Mackinnon was a better player than Rantanen when he signed.

This is so wrongMikko Rantanen is a worse player than Mitch Marner, just like he was in 2019.
I believe it's because they update to show current cap hit percentage instead of showing their signing cap hit percentage.Thanks. Capwages has an issue with the Cap percentages, I've noticed that before.
No lol
Marner is better offensively and defensively in every main game state. Rantanen is better at putting pucks into empty nets and getting drafted to a team that gets a lot of PPs.This is so wrong

ULF you are not dealing with Dekes correctly. From 2020 on he has been over 100pt pace.Hard to argue against his position.
This would be 3rd. year in a row over 100 points.

Over his contract he's:
9th. in NHL points
6th. in goals
Next year how much more will Kyle Connor be looking at?
Over his contract he's Top 15 player, Top 4 in even strength goals.
They've both been main contributors in the playoffs, and team accomplishments don't change player quality. But yes, I did miss one. He's also better at getting drafted to a team that's faced worse goaltending and easier situations to produce in the playoffs. You are missing the fact he is a main contributor in the playoffs and has won it.
Some of you have been really big on bringing Crouse in over the last few years. He's having an absolutely horrendous season.
What a disaster that would have been.
I recall you were the first/earliest one to propose Lilijgren for Cates dealNoah Cates is back to playing C and he’s been hot lately. His defensive metrics are still elite and he’s back to a half pt/gp. He’s immediately my first choice for a 3C.
What being a leaf fan for X amount of years does to a person lol. This will never happen, just therapy, trades can happen between now and off-season lol.
I call it "screw all of you, I am done"

Leafs future seems very hard to predict.
I don't know if Ownership/Mangement has the balls to move on from near certainty of playoff team core and try to build a winner with multille core piece move out scenerios
Just extremely risk averse, wanting to avoid saying a bad move is done and taking fault/heat despite a near decade of playoff failure (assuming another R1 knockout this spring)
get Reaves off the team and work on getting Domi off too. Brutal contract.
Domi is currently playing 2nd line center, we need the guy and he's a good RWget Reaves off the team and work on getting Domi off too. Brutal contract.
Hall and Murphy from Chicago make too much sense. Hall has wanted to play here and likely re-signs. Brings some actual scoring depth.
Murphy has another year on the contract and slides in beautifully beside Rielly.
Agreed. Leafs will go after a C rather than a W. This also pushes Domi to the wing which, technically, bolsters winger depthHall doesn't make any sense. He's another one dimensional mid line winger and we have plenty of those. Even at 50% he's got a 3M cap hit, which is more than half of the cap space we have to spend on. Murphy would obviously be a good upgrade.
