Grabbing Brayden Schenn is gonna be stupid

He had 46 point last year and is on pace for 16 goals and 49 points this season. He’s already 33 and is signed for 2 years past this one at 6.5M

I think he’s gonna be ok his first year and then fall off hard in the following 2 years

We need to find a Center who can be a longer term option at around at least 3 years of good play. I’m fine with dealing minten, Cowan or 1sts for a good price

That's a great deal for Florida. Jones is definitely still a good top 3 defensemen for a team and adds an offensive element to the d-core that they've sorely been lacking with the departures of OEL and Montour

sucks we won't add to that level, I think they're comfortably better than us tbh

Empty the tank for Robert Thomas. He's exactly what we need. A young, two-way, right shot center, who's signed to term. The only problem (other than the fact St. Louis has no reason to trade him) is sending back enough expiring money to make the cap hit work. I'd move Cowan, Minten, and our 2026 FRP for him easily.
