Has Tampa actually done anything?
They are trading for Gourde and Bjorkstrand.
Has Tampa actually done anything?
I think if we throw these packages at them they would all show strong interests....sure they might try switching out a few prospects but we counter with more picks if thats the case, but i think the value here its pre fairWhat do you think Utah, Seattle and especially Chicago say?
My guess is the lack of cap space makes it tougher for us. I don't think TB has that problem.Tre is so scared to make trades lol.
Trade deadline is Friday, not todayTwo biggest threats the Florida teams have both added massively now at the TDL. Brad sits on his hands. This team...
They are trading for Gourde and Bjorkstrand.
There is a difference between desperation and actively improving the team, and Brad isn't doing either yetI wouldn't let what other teams do dictate a desperation move personally.
Oof, disagree. Lou signed Marleau and apparently they knew it would be a problem. Imo, that's not rational or forward thinking at all. It's not a forward thinking organization. They have two gears.
Not thinking -Nonis, Tre
Over thinking -Burke, Dubas
Rational thinking -Lou short lived
They need to find the common sense middle ground. The rational thinker(that isn't 163yrs old) But that's our Leafs!
Has Tampa actually done anything?
That's an insane return for two very mediocre players.Elliotte says 2 1st round picks are going back.
Nuts. Save your assets Leafs.
Just saw a post about it. If that is the actual deal, yikes.Do you not see the trade breaking right now?
More artistic talent than me, then. I never could colour in the lines...
Kindergarten was a rough time for the Commander.
There is a dump in England worth billions!I have often wished I could unload a garbage truck in exchange for a brinks full of gold.
I wouldn't let what other teams do dictate a desperation move personally.
Leafs really need to finish first! Pedal to the metal. We do not want TB or Florida in round one.
Exactly. It's easier to justify going bigger at the deadline had our star core players shown any semblance of their talent in the playoffs and that they can lead this team to a Cup/cup run.
But in the absence of that largely in the last several years, wasting assets on depth/supporting players - especially short term rentals - seems like a wast.
Will also have a hard time bumping Holmberg off the second lineThe issue with McCann is his greatest value comes as a shooter on the RW halfwall on the PP. We don't have space for him there
If Gourde and Bjorkstrand are both 50% retained, it's something.
Hedman, McDonagh, Vas and Kucherov are not getting younger.
That's a massive coup for Tampa. They are trading for Gourde and Bjorkstrand.
Leafs have to do something. Nelson or if nothing else Laughton. Can't sit here and do nothing or too little.
