Vegas is bless with LTIR and high end draft picks, while Tor barely has any high end draft pick and we used up all the LTIR space.

Edmundson does play both sides but most of his history on the left with RD like Pesce, Pietrangelo, and Petry so he has played with some quality guys. I can't see how effective he would be on the right side based on on how little time he has spent there. Still like him more than Dumba but as a righty I would take shakey Brodie ahead of either. Why bother trading for a player that has to play better than they have in years to move the needle at all for you? I hope the 29th pick over all is worth going into the playoffs with a scrub defense.

There is a difference between cheating and using the rules to your advantage. Vegas has LTIR space, so they are using. The Leafs are doing the same with Klingberg's space.

Timmins and Giordano are only on IR which means they get a roster spot but not cap relief. So they have 25 players on the roster counter against the cap.

On a 23 player healthy roster, they have about 1.8M in cap space.

I truly believe that Dubas set this team back. He wasted the hand he was dealt. The contracts, coaching, culture, wasted assets…

I just want a complete culture change for the Leafs. I want them to be like Vegas where the number of priority is winning.
