I'm leaning towards Perron. Older but still a good player. Playoff style guy and can score and shows up in the playoffs.
Had formed a good partnership with ROR, but can fit with JT too.
He's the best option left.

This has been my suspicion the last couple of days too. Dubas was reportedly targeting him in the offseason. He'd be a good top 9 option/Bunting insurance for next year too. Retention would be ideal but could probably fit him in if Kerfoot goes the other way.

I'd like Perron. Not his best statistical year but Detroit sucks, and he was a near PPG player for multiple seasons before this one while also being a stud in the playoffs. And like you said, the relationship and familiarity with ROR is there too.

Honestly dont think Domi was ever a serious target for Dubas.

Market for forwards is dwindling down though. I dont know what other impact forward is out there for the leafs. I dont think they would be interested in JVR

If that’s the case then I don’t understand the moves Dubas made after ROR and Accairi. Did he get drunk the other day and just go crazy? We still don’t have a No 1 Dman a Top 6 LW and a healthy goalie tandem (Murray is never healthy).
