Michael Mann's cousin Bobby McMann is getting Trump huuuuuge respect and props at our boards. Interesting to see if he plays a playoff game at all.

The Leafs have their top 2 LD set for the next 3 seasons. Sandin is being wasted on the 3rd pair for that long. Maximize the asset now, don't keep him to play 3/4 LD and watch his value diminish to Dermott levels.

Kerfoot would open up more room than they even need to activate Murray. Chance they add another forward that might fit the makeup if they do that?
 
Now is the time to swoop in and blindside everyone with a shrewd Jensen acquisition.

No one would see I coming I tell ya! Jaws would be dropping, and in a good way, not like the Jeannot way (or the other good way that isn't suitable for a family Forum.....)
 
Sounds like the Leafs will wait until the last minute to make a cap related trade per Dubas. He mentioned how Sandin got injured last year and that fixed their cap "issues" so they will take their time and see how it plays out the rest of the week.

Think we can flip Engvall/Kerfoot for assets to acquire Domi? Would be nice to have some more offensive ability in the bottom 6.

Bunting - Matthews - Marner
Knies - Tavares - Nylander
Domi - ROR - Jarnkrok
Lafferty - Kampf - Acciari
 
Yup... Definitely didn't sound like one of those pressers where they're packing it up and good with what they've done.

He's probably got at least one minor trade left still if not more.
 
Dubas definitely has to make a move if he wants Murray back in the line-up. Someone definitely has to go. Hopefully its Kerfoot.

They have something lined up then, it may cost something though if there waiting just in case somebody gets hurt

If push comes to shove we can waive Kerfoot/Engvall and ice a 22man roster (Sandin/Timmins as spares) with Murray activated. Only downside is potentially having to play 10F 8D down the stretch if we run into injuries.

But we're not up against the wall to get leveraged into a costly dump move.
