I'm sort of holding out hope that when Andlauer comes in, he straight up freezes Garrioch out. No more arrogant team mouth piece gaslighting people. That's the dream anyway. Make inroads with Ian Mendes. He has a much better grip on the fan base and is a all around decent guy.
I mean, there has to be a better guy to roll with. As a Senators fan, I feel a bit embarrassed that Garrioch is the media guy most associated with our team. Feels Mickey Mouse.

I was hoping that was the case but he was first in the ownership news, which leads me to believe he has sources within that group too. Or maybe it's just Dorion feeding him stuff and that will dry up once he's canned.

He knows where to dig thats for sure. It wasn't hard to know his primary sources were Melnyk and Dorion. It is very possible the daughters/board have been keeping him in the loop during the sale saga. I remember shortly after Euge died he was dropping fluff pieces saying they are in a position to own the team for the foreseeable future thanks to their fathers estate planning.

Here is hoping with the board dismantling and the Melnyks owning the team from the shadows he dries up. There definitely is the possibility that Andlauer needs someone to deliver fluff for him and Garrioch has already built up that resume so you never know.

Ya can’t do Sens twitter or reddit
Reddit is great as a link aggregator but awful in pretty much every other respect
I think he's a great fit on the 4th line. He's infinitely better than Gambrell who he seems to have a hard on for.
Gambrell is consistent, it has value on a young team, but I would be much happier moving forward with neither Gauthier or Gambrell in the teams top 14 or 15 forwards

Gambrell is consistent at doing nothing special whatsoever.

At least Gauthier has speed and size.

Neither are make it or break it type of players that you'd must have to win but if I had to pick between the two it'd be Gauthier and by a landslide

Fair enough, but I bet most coaches would play Gambrell over Gauthier in a playoff game. Gambrell doesnt have the ability to do anything better than a 4th line level, that's an obvious limitation, but he is "reliable" and that goes a long way for fringe players
