what about

DZ, Brass+ for Stasny, Barrie+

we get a a 1c/2c for when richards is bought out and RHD in Barrie

they get a top 4 PP dman and another center that can fit 2c/3c

** both are RFA so with a cap friendly team it will help, and stasny will most likely test the market and i think he would fit in well with fellow USA players and nash moving fwd

He reflects the opposite thoughts of the Rangers board though.

lol. thanks. Ya, no way you are getting Yakupov, I think that is just dreaming. I know you guys don't love the Hemsky I idea, but as the above post mentioned I got to think Slats wants to get a roster player that helps now. Hemsky can still put the puck in the net. plus picks or prospects of course.

Any way, I am interested to see where he goes and for how much.

This is what a Leafs fan posted on the trade board:

Gardiner has not been good for our team thus far

1) He struggles with defensive awareness on most nights. 2) His decision making isn't his strong suit either. 3) His offensive ability is still hidden somewhere

He is a good skating defensemen who once in a blue moon shows a glimpse of brilliance

Overall, he is very much a raw defensemen who is still trying to find his place in the league. He could eventually be a good top 4 defensemen or he could completely bust

I'd probably only consider this if we could get Stasny signed to a contract.

I know little about Barrie, besides that he is touted as an offensive D. Anyone willing to give a scouting report on him? I'd really appreciate it.

I'm not sure if there's a whole lot of reason for the Avs to do this...Brassard QO is decently high for what he has produced so far. Interesting trade though, these are the kinds we should be looking at. A center and RD (offensively minded hopefully). Nice!

Do I need to dig up all the things Rangers fans have said about Del Zotto, or can we agree it can be bad?

Except, heat of the moment crap about DZ is different from writing that stuff in the trade board. Basically almost everything written on that board you have to take with a grain of salt because a fan's team's players all of a sudden is great and the other team's players are all of a sudden garbage.

bernmeister does that reflect the thoughts and opinions of the Ranger board as a whole.
I never said that it does, or has to.
I'm sure many agree and disagree.
Obviously, when someone posts something, it is automatically TAKEN as their own opinion, unless they note it is a statement of fact, or explicitly confirm it is their opinion, for emphasis.

Does this post reflect anything worth saying, or did you just feel like taking a mentally bankrupt cheap shot?:shakehead

MDZ scratched again?

I would be surprised if he still is a NY ranger for more than a couple of days.

Hmm, i have a trade idea for you bern.

Staal, Stepan, 2014-15-16 first and second round pick for Toews and Keith. Then we trade Toews, Keith, Kreider AND Hagelin for Malkin. After we get Malkin, we can trade Callahan and 2028 3rd rounder for Clowe and Jagr. Also, trade Girardi, Hank and 2018 1st rounder for Bertuzzi, Quincey and Abdelkader (who we move to LD). Then trade Zuccarello for a 5th in 2030 to replenish the prospect pool. Fill every other line in with AHLers and FA scrubs. Lines should look like this.

Clowe-Malkin-Jagr
Pyatt-Brassard-Kristo
Pouliot-Moore-Bertuzzi
Boyle-Miller-Dorsett

Bickel-McDonagh
Quincey-DZ
Abdelkader-Johnson

Talbot

Great team right guys?

:handclap:

You've cracked the code.

This is what a Leafs fan posted on the trade board:

..and six weeks ago he was untouchable. Gardiner isn't fitting in with the Leafs, and that, coupled with some areas he needs to work on, are why he's potentially available in the first place. You need to roll the dice on players that can turn into what you want them to be.

Gardiner was fantastic in his first full year with Wilson, but he hasn't fit in with Carlyle's system and has been in the dog house since he took over. Sometimes that's just the way it goes. He's perfectly capable of being a #4 guy right now, but all we really need him to be is a 3rd pairing guy who can grow into a bigger role over the rest of the year, and groom him on the 2nd unit to take over for Richards when he's bought out this summer.

CGY, BUF, DAL, EDM, CAR, OTT all interested in Del Zotto. Organization "set" on dealing him.

matter of time. COL not on the list but watching their game vs STL and man they have a lot of RD. Still think Barrie is a good piece ad a RD but they would need some scoring coming back too.

I imagine Sather is offering DZ and Pyatt or Pouliott for either a equally good RD and a 3rd liner or a 2nd liner and a 3rd pairing RD

Off the top of my head I have no idea who from the teams listed would be appealing.

Apparently McKenzie reported this nugget of info, so I'd be certain of that, but TFP is a pretty bad source. I'd call them a hockey tabloid. That said, most of those teams make sense and are some teams that have been tossed around before. I think we're a good match with Dallas.

Nothing from Dallas interests me except Seguin and Chiasson, which neither would happen. Maybe Goligoski if he was a righty and made less money.
