Lotta guys here that don't move the needle. Klingberg experiment needs to end. Kapanen, I like his speed but does nothing else. Same with Arvidsson, Henrique, and Janmark, NMC notwithstanding. Giving a NMC AND a 2nd year to Arvidsson was so dumb, makes it harder for a team to want to take him.

When we got Klingberg we knew what we were getting. There is a reason why he has bounced around so much. 5 teams in 4 years?

Before his injuries Arvidisson was a half decent two way forward--but he has not bounced back to be anywhere near what he was before.

Try for Quick or Soderblom to replace Pickard. They aren't going to go big game hunting, and both of those guys could be an upgrade on Pickard for whenever Skinner shits the bed. I prefer Quick, because he has the resume to lay into the D when they f*** up and it to actually mean something, like Mike Smith. Plus he has the history you want in a backup for Stu, imo.

Then trade Klingberg+1st++ for Oleksiak@75% retention.

He said that a goalie isn't a priority, but he's not going to rule it out depending on Kane's LTIR situation. Which is the most we've heard about a potential goalie add. It was in response to someone asking why we aren't trading for a goalie.

Otherwise he hasn't said any names yet.
