Sometimes miracles
I mean no. Dude needs to stay quiet.Maybe all the Kane slander can stop now.

The majority of our forwards have NMC and we need to keep guys until the playoffs too. Max Jones is probably our 15/16th best forward in the org right now.We just acquired 2 wingers. If Kane is coming back for the playoffs, that means at least 2, if not more wingers have to be shipped out. We have much more cap space than we previously thought.

He did his job though. Spout some BS and drive a bazillion clicks to his site.Does Seravalli ever not take L's? That guy's takes are always so unreliable.
I think that Stanley Cup stuff is why they paid so much, seems a bit rich for the guy, as Dom states.

this is on Kane as much as managementThe fact that we're this close to the deadline and they still don't know is flat out unacceptable.
Yeah, he really is exceptionally unreliable. Maybe he is bang on with other teams, but with the Oilers, he never seems to nail anything at all. In this precise instance, maybe Rishaug is wrong, so I'm not just commenting on the Kane thing, but just in general.
At this rate I wonder if management knows what a goalie actually is and what their job is?Trading for goalies is hard.

Maybe? There the guy who is supposed to generate the endorsement deals from California Closets, yeah?
So back to “can’t go all in every year”Stauff hinted at the during the intermission of the ducks game. I dont remember the exact quote but he said something along the lines of if management believed they could win this year, they'll pull out all the stops and push the chips in the middle and go for it, and that they haven't done that speaks to how they view the situation.
Which honestly, fair enough. As bad as it sounds, the draft is the better time to add to your team.
Also keep in mind the team that makes the most changes at the deadline dont always end up winning.
im withholding judgement until tomorrow, but i will say theres no one out that interests me and is available. So back to “can’t go all in every year”
Must be nice to be paid millions to be half assed at best at your job. Oilers GM and big company CEO's = profit +++++ no matter how bad things are going.
They are getting millions from the city to build an outdoor venue where they get profit. It’s f***ing gross. f*** the OEG.Must be nice to be paid millions to be half assed at best at your job. Oilers GM and big company CEO's = profit +++++ no matter how bad things are going.
Didn't Holland get paid 5 million a year? Maybe Katz could've invested that money in actual scouting.Must be nice to be paid millions to be half assed at best at your job. Oilers GM and big company CEO's = profit +++++ no matter how bad things are going.
Overpaying for a goalie given the situation makes sense. Overpaying for a depth D or forward does not. I'd be perfectly fine with an overpay for Binnington for instance.Best to reserve judgement until the smoke clears tomorrow.
The Oilers are not dealing from a position of strength (don't even know how much cap space they have?) so I am not expecting any major deals. Probably a few smaller deals close to the deadline when most other teams have wrapped it up and leftovers are thrown into the microwave.
Then he files a grievance and we are absoultely facked.this is on Kane as much as management
time to put their foot down and tell him to f*** off until the playoffs
