It's not false. Allan Walsh is an idiot. Even if it were true that the tax rates of the states didn't matter, which they do, players definitely approach as them as though they do.

The chances of guys like Fiala ever figuring out solid play and outscoring is pretty remote. Kopes as good as he is, he's 37. Its basically Kempe and a prayer that lineup. If Oilers managed to lose to that they don't deserve to even be in playoffs.

LA are like a perfect first round opponent. Then again its why you play the games. Canucks shouldn't have been hard last playoffs either. With our goaltending you never really know.

I lost all respect for that cueball bozo when I asked him about Dustin Schwartz and why he still had a job and he gave me some speil about how he was a good guy in the room or whatever.

Like you almost have to try to lose a series where the other team's goalie is .882, has any team in the modern history (post 1980s, very early 90s) won a series with their starter being .882?

Where’s this myth that the west was weak? Sure didn’t say that at the time until the oilers made the finals. Jets avs Vegas and stars were all really good teams, and Dallas’ defense is worse than last year

I think we need to temper our expectations for Walman. I was reading some posts from San Jose fans and a lot of what they described sounded like Nurse from last season. That said, like Nurse, he was paired with Ceci a lot, and like Nurse, his play improved substantially without Ceci.

That said, remember when Emberson came in from San Jose and people were saying he would be a second-pairing partner for Nurse? Hasn't quite worked out like that, but he is a massive improvement over Ceci...

I f***ing hope and pray that I'm wrong about this team's chances. Nothing would make me happier than to have everyone quote these posts with "Todaso" memes after Skinner and/or Pickard somehow make it work.

Them scoring isn’t a concern.
It’s this as it has been the whole season:

You do know it was a 7 game series against Vancouver right? And 3 of our games we won by a single goal? You won’t think Vancouver going from an AHL starter to legit NHL starter would have made a difference in even a single game?

The West wasn't at all "weak" last year. It was the bloodbath that everyone expected it to be.
 
Would certainly take LA in 1st round over winning west and playing a healthy MIN team.

They added just Kuzmenko so meh.

DAL adding Rantanen is good. If there is one team that can knock Avs and maybe even Jets out early it's DAL.
