Understood. There have been times where he has looked a core player and honestly at the right price, I think he'll stay and he'll end up being with team 7+ years. But I know what you mean by not a core player

I would actually advocate throwing him in to get MSL plus a bit but between him and Cally our PK would be a shambles.

The only way Callahan could possibly further limit the number of teams willing to pay him what he wants would be to attach himself to Girardi, who also wants real money, though a more reasonable amount.

And what a dumb idea for G. He alone is attractive to most NHL teams. He needing to come with Callahan is attractive to a few select teams IMO.

i hope Sather gets Steve Ott. he is needed on this team in the playoffs. Rangers need help at center ice. he can win faceoffs, and a more skilled pest is not a bad thing.. Ott would be a fan favorite here and would provide energy and add speed to the lineup as well.

I probably mentioned that they were adults because you made it seem as if he was making a brash decision and/or could be swayed to change his mind because so and so wanted him to.
