Does MSL play tonight?

McK was saying that MSL was telling people he was traded about 45 mins ago. He's got 6.5 hours to get from Tampa Bay to NYC, if he can get on a plane by 1 you'd think he can be at MSG by 5...its only a ~ 2.5 hour flight. Guess theres an outside shot

A whirlwind of emotions right now.

Ecstatic they didnt extend Callahan to a crushing deal. But they go and flip him and two huge picks for a 38 year old. I love MSL but the price is STEEP. They couldve held onto Callahan and been 15% less of a team AND retained their top picks.

Is there any deal out there before the deadline that would allow them to get that 1st back? or the 2nd? We may have to see the Rangers management finish out this day before really laying into them.

Oh and it sucks to see Cally go. As much as we beat him up lately hes still Cally. This whole thing is ****ed up. This team has no direction other than into the dumps.

All-in-all, I would have rather seen Callhn sign a reasonable contract with the Rangers. Glad Sather didnt cave. good for Cally. He can keep playing at 75% and get a fat deal with Buffalo. And the Rangers get a bonafide scorer for a couple-three seasons. Those picks probably turn into one bust and one secondliner in six years. TB might do ok. Might have gotten boned. Fair deal anyhow, for all. Considering the circumstances.
