Im grasping at straws, but its not done yet.

What else can we do but grasp at straws in hopes Sather doesn't screw up.

Really wish we could have traded Callahan to Anaheim...package him for Kerdiles and Vatanen. Build up the core here.

I really don't think they could build a serious cup contending team with $15MM tied up between a declining winger and a goalie. Tied up way too much money with Hank.

Sorry but that shouldnt come into the decision when youre talking about a longterm deal of this magnitude. They did it with Torts and Richards and look where it got them. Torts is in Vancouver to boot.
