His best years was with you guysHe’s not really a playoff type player. Not sure why a team would want to add him for a playoff run. Much better options out there.
His best years was with you guys
That’s because those years were ultimately let downs, had you guys gone on a deep run or two I’m sure you would sing a different tune.Even then, nothing to write home about.

I thought he’s only 30, maybe he can find another gear on a more competitive team , but fair enoughNot sure why any playoff bound team would want him. If they do for some reason, to answer the question, not much. If we retain 50%, the price obviously goes up a bit. Not sure what I’d want for him at 50% retained. Perhaps just some kind of reclamation project that the other team wants to nice on from? Draft capital is something we’re oozing so shipping us a pick for him may not get the job done simply because it’s not a huge need, but make it a high enough pick and we could talk. Even still, I think I’d part with him at 50% retained for a third round pick. I’d prefer an actual player though, hence suggesting a reclamation project type player as the ask.

Or was a he major reason in the downfall of those seasons?
I say and ask kindly btw
Makes sense, well from an outsider this if my favourite Kerfoot goal ever I thinkI honestly think he never really found a spot on Toronto. He was tried as a top 6 winger on occasions without much success and as a bottom six guy he didn’t have grit and his skill as whole never really contributed much take away one year. Looking back on your post I’ll actually say his best years were when he on Colorado.
You don’t think San Jose throws a league min at him?@3.5 mill …. I do not think he gets claimed if he is put through waivers.
No value….. I see him just playing the season out in Utah not even being waived .
Utah cleaning house / first they waive Valimaki and now this…. Throughing out the extra white rice that nobody wants after ordering Chinese takeout!
Next year he will not even get a contract on free agent day.
He will be one of those 30 + veterans looking for a team / possibly a pto pro tryout to compete in training camp / being a veteran player so a team doesn’t have to play any veteran of significance in one of the first 2-3 pre season games to make the minimum veteran presence in a pre season game.
Bjugstad has more value. You don’t think San Jose throws a league min at him?

Just epic
Cheers
I haven't watched him in Utah, but in Toronto he was a lightning rod for criticism from fans that only derive player value from goals and hits. He's vanilla as they come, and wasn't really a fit as a complement the the stars in the offensive zone- but was a decent PKer, and a pretty underrated hockey player through 190ft of ice. Good in transition good puck support, decent defensively but not strong enough to be a shutdown guy.Interesting replies in this thread. As a Utah fan, I really like Kerfoot and hope he re-signs. I think he’s been a very valuable player throughout his contract with AZ/UT.
