Because that's what happens when you can't execute a rebuild competently and reduce it to just sucking for high picks. At some point players have enough and you're pressured into moves that give hope of meaningful progress. Other managers are then in position to squeeze you for assets.

I should’ve been more clear, I don’t understand why they spent these assets on a player like Byram. I get why it’s time for them to speed things up but for that good of a package I’d thought they would’ve gone for a more proven commodity.

Thanks god CHI to be stupid. Habs have Demidov because of their non-sense. At this point, I don't care about Knies. I dream about him since 2 days, but f*** it. We want a good player for Demidov, but in reality, Demidov don't need anyone. He make better everyone. Looks next year when Newhook and Kapanen will score each 30 goals because of Ivan FREAKING Demidov!!
