Kent is working the phone. they know what is needed. lack of movement to date isn't reflective of lack of work behind the scene. players personnel will be made in due time - I'm the first to want a trade and see how that could change the outlook of next season. I dont think this is a question of him being cheap either, I think he's aiming for the fence with very complex situation (Knies being one good example).

Buff landed Crevier and #4 ,, might not be a improvement right now but damn they won that trade, Crevier is already pretty damn good and udge, Byram won't be missed that much, and that #4 could become a elite D.

Ott got Eklund and 2 first pick, they won that trade as well, i don't see a big lost if you compare Brady to Eklund

Eklund vs Brady is not an upgrade at all. Thats a huge loss. Argubaly their best player was traded away.
They did the best they could but thats like when the habs lost KK to Car and turned the 1st pick into Dvorak and celebrating as if it was some massive win.
ottawa did the best they could by being forced to move one of their best players to a hand picked team. But going from Brady to Eklund is a downgrade.

Thats where I am. I was not dying for Tuch or Kyrou but they would 100% be improvements to the teams top 6.
The issue is lots of teams made moves so your starting to limit yourself on who you can deal with.
KH better have something brewing. Lets see at the draft but right now he is LTTP. Other GMs are beating him to the punch by making the deals they want to make while KH is enjoying La Fete National.
Draft is Friday so I think we should start hearing something tomorrow or Friday afternoon.

Who interesting has been traded? Raddysh? Byram? Kyrou? Only interesting player traded had been BT and we were not on his list. If KH signed Tuch to that contract people would ask for his head.
