I thought 16 and 17 plus a future 3rd line centre and bottom pair D would be considered not enough for 3ish years of PPG Crosby.holy overpay lmao
id give that for Horvat

Zacha a bit slow?
Caufield , Slaf, Laine and zacha all under 50th percentile for speed (edge data).
can’t have just suzuki (+ Demidov, hopefully) > 50th in the top 6. That’d be a bit slow.
In before someone else further downgrades her to a maintenance staff associate position.both 1st rounders + Beck + Mailloux.
we then rely on Hage to take Crosbys spot in future.
Hes turning 38 with injuries over injuries. Giving 3 first pick is just too much. We can get Younger and better at this priceI thought 16 and 17 plus a future 3rd line centre and bottom pair D would be considered not enough for 3ish years of PPG Crosby.
I’m pretty sure Crosby hasn’t missed a game in three years. But I agree I wouldn’t give up that many futures unless it’s for someone that projects to be in our line up long term. Crosby is definitely up there in age now.Hes turning 38 with injuries over injuries. Giving 3 first pick is just too much. We can get Younger and better at this price
Has RNH been on the Oilers 3rd line most of this season?
If so I wonder if he'd be potentially available as a trade target. I could see them being very interested in Fowler for obvious reasons. I'd entertain something around Fowler+ for RNH. I know most fans would blow a gasket over that proposal, but goalies are a crap shoot, even prospects that look as promising as Fowler. It wasn't long ago that Primeau was coming off a similarly impressive College run and getting praised as the future in net.
It was a mercury retrograde joke.
Seems like I whiffed it. Like Lucas' dad would say.
Show must go on
Don’t know where to post this
A Montreal boy. Might sign with Laval?
looks legit!
A smart rival GM should start to worry about the HabsClick bait
They aren't trading lundell . Bennett like their other players will take a discount and he plays many roles. They Love Lundell and won't trade him. They are a championship team, so not happeningIf Bennett stays in Florida, what would be the price for Lundell? I see that the Panthers don't pick in the first three rounds, and they only picked 4 times in the top 100 the last three drafts (with Linus Eriksson at 58 being the highest).
What about our highest 1st 2025, MTL 1st 2026 (top 10 protected), PIT 2nd 2025 and Owen Beck?
All those players have a 0% chance to sign in Montreal and Gavrikov already makes over 5.5 million. Some players who we might sign?
Ryan Lindgren LD could be useful and affordable ant $3.5 mil. Averages 19 mins per game.
Ivan Provorov could be a good addition at $6 mil averages 23 mins per game.
Aaron Ekblad could be that missing horse to play 23mins a game. He might be costly at $7.5 mil
Mason Appleton as replacement for Armia at $3 mil.
Another horse Neal Pionk but will be at $6.5 mil. Averages 23 mins a game
Sam Bennett this guy fits the MTL plan moving forward $7.5 mil 6 years will convince him.
Lastly Vladislav Gavrikov is a horse averages 22-23 mins a game. Maybe at $5.5 mil.
Of the players I listed Lindgren, Appleton, Bennett are good fit with what we have. Lindgren replaces Savard, Appleton replaces Armia and Bennett gives us that missing 2nd line center.
Slafkovsky Suzuki Caufield
Demidov Bennett Laine
Newhook Dach Appleton
Anderson Evans Gallagher
Beck/Roy
Hutson Matheson
Guhle Carrier
Xhekaj Lindgren
