I don't think either gets dealt. The locker room wants them to add, not subtract well-liked vets. Didn't Armia sign in the offseason after the cup run?
I don't think habs budge. They only have 6 Dmen on this trip, I don't think they're dealing savard either.
As far Dvorak is concerned, are they going to retain to get another 3rd rounder?
They don't even have the depth to sit anyone because Pezz ain't it.I don't think either gets dealt. The locker room wants them to add, not subtract well-liked vets. Didn't Armia sign in the offseason after the cup run?

Dylan still looked weak. I mean Dach would have totalled KK. Dylan looked weak. Physicality is BS in hockey if you can’t walk the walk. The only one KK landed was straight on the helmet
If you mean physicality is BS if you can't fight then I'd hard disagree. I'd take someone that actually plays the body and lays hits over someone that doesn't but is good at fighting anyday.Physicality is BS in hockey if you can’t walk the walk.
Indeed, nothing is absolute. However it's likely that if a team is going to trade a young, cost controlled 2C that they would want a young C prospect as part of the package in return. Especially if they are trading with the Habs, who have several. There are many paths to a deal. Kent Hughes is resourceful, I’m confident he’ll pitch something none of us saw coming.
What if Devils GM says “but he was playing Marner & Tkachuk?”
I don't understand wtf is going on with this trade

I do not want Laine to play with Demidov. If anything Demidov is very dynamic in the offensive zone and I would want to see him on a line with guys that can move and able to read is play and react accordingly. Laine is too passive and that would be a bad complement. In fact... trade Laine.Pie in the sky trade.
Trade for Rantanen only if an extension is on the table.
Move Demidov to center
Laine-Demidov-Rantanen
Trade Newhook, 1st, Mailloux, fruit basket.
He's good buddies with Caufield, if they trade him the cock might go limp.A 3rd rounder for deadwood like Dvorak, sign me up.

I think Habs may retain on Laine at draft. To get decent return. I agree with you, don't want him near DemidovI do not want Laine to play with Demidov. I have the same approach to Laine. Retain 50%, get a pick or depth piece.Novak been good fit here

Yeah, let's not put our soon to be best playmaker with one of our best shooters.I do not want Laine to play with Demidov.
