If you mean physicality is BS if you can't fight then I'd hard disagree. I'd take someone that actually plays the body and lays hits over someone that doesn't but is good at fighting anyday.

You wear down teams in the playoffs by playing the body over a 7 games series, not by sending a goon out to fight every single guy on the oppositions team.

There are many paths to a deal. Kent Hughes is resourceful, I’m confident he’ll pitch something none of us saw coming.

Indeed, nothing is absolute. However it's likely that if a team is going to trade a young, cost controlled 2C that they would want a young C prospect as part of the package in return. Especially if they are trading with the Habs, who have several.

I have the same approach to Laine. Retain 50%, get a pick or depth piece.
