At least a realy valuable piece. As a North... Avs fans, Im realy happy to have Cal Ritchie on the system. We dont have solution for Mittelstadt failure. We gonna have the same problem here if Hage can reach his potentiel and even there, Hage could be a RW in NHL (which is also a need for us).

This has been the issue with this team all year. The drop-off after Suzuki is massive and it can't continue. We need a 50 point guy to take over that spot, someone good at the dot and responsible defensively as well.

Wild don’t have roster spot with Ryan Hartman coming back after Sunday! They aren’t putting Kaprizov on injured reserve because they want him to return before season’s end so they won’t make a trade for one player much less two unless they move a roster player

Plenty of teams are in the same position than Avs and Habs and still search for a 2nd center. Except for Nelson, there is nothing on the UFA market and even Nelson isnt the best option. That why we accept to lose a trade last year in Byram vs Mittel and unfortunatly.

He is too old for the price he'd cost us. The price would make sense for a contender that could be a Crosby away from a cup. But for us he's too old. We'd have to sell off a ton of futures for a guy that'll be 38 next season when we haven't even made the playoffs yet in this rebuild.
