Habs Icing
Formerly Onice
For all the posters dreaming about Dobson, how about Hutson for Dobson?
I don't. This is just a lateral move. For all the posters dreaming about Dobson, how about Hutson for Dobson?
I don't know about Hutson but I promise if The Habs are in on Dobson...It will cost at least one of the names that will make us go on a rampage. He won't be had for scraps and futures. For all the posters dreaming about Dobson, how about Hutson for Dobson?
Dobson is 25, it isn't lateral, it's just dumb.I don't. This is just a lateral move.
2 top 2 dman in the NHL. Hutson is younger. I would prefer a pair hutson/Dobson insteadDobson is 25, it isn't lateral, it's just dumb.
I wonder if Figs will trade Matthews since he said the same thing last week.Caufield is a stud and this insignificant episode will blow over. Not worth losing a stud on a good contract for this reason.
He’s also half-Canadian isn’t he?
Caufield is a young man put in an awkward situation due to politics and the Habs ought to have prepared him for the obvious question. Chill out. Not trading him and I like him as much as I did before that question.
No to Dobson. We have Hutson. We need more of an Andersson type of 2 way guy. If he has the ceiling, go for Nemec and then keep Matheson for 2 more years but trade Savard now.
In the summer see about finding a 2C if Dach hasn't come through. If Duchene is available as a UFA we can outbid anybody so sign him to a 2-3 year deal. Otherwise it's the trade route.
We aren't trading Fowler. We don't have a starting goalie or even a for sure back up. His value is still limited and just a sweetener on a bigger deal. Absolutely not worth trading him.
It won't work, you would need to sacrifice Reinbacher. That's the only serious offer I see going through.Dobson can play with Guhle and Carrier with Hutson. I'd seriously consider trading Slaf+pieces for Dobson. Many probable wingers at the top of the draft anyway.
If my country's leader threatened to annex them I would understand the booing because I have a fully functional brain capable of rational thinking.
You don't know that. It's Lou. He likes big bodies, and on the plus side, Slaf never ever has facial hair.It won't work, you would need to sacrifice Reinbacher. That's the only serious offer I see going through.
A fair analysis of next year?Juraj getting called out by GM in the media, Caufield calling the fans booing the US anthem disrespectful, the rebuild's in shambles
I know neither story probably leads to much discourse in the locker room, but lets pretends we're in a nightmare scenario like Vancouver was with a disgruntled locker room. Slaf's pissed at management and Caufield wants out of town; would you move Caufield+ for Michkov and Slaf+ for a high end 2C/low end 1C?
Then potentially have something along the lines of Demi-Suzuki-Michkov and Laine-McTavish-Dach as our top 6 next season.
Yeah sure, but Caufield is young and rich (now). That pov is probably not in his present perview, but others in his surroundings will enlighten him.
Wanting to trade him for such a response is just silly.

If Dobson was a solid 2 way guy yes, but i don't know the player as others do and his defensive play is questioned by most. For me that's a real problem.Dobson can play with Guhle and Carrier with Hutson. I'd seriously consider trading Slaf+pieces for Dobson. Many probable wingers at the top of the draft anyway.

Need to work on that time machine if you want Brady.Do everything you can to get Brady Tkachuk.
If Carlo is on the move. That's an option I'd go hard at.
Guhle Reinbacher
Hutson Carlo
That would be a very deep top 4.
I can't see them making any sort of a trade inside the division. They'd be going west IMO.
I think Rantanen goes to free agency.Say the TSN trade board this morning and it had Savard at number 4.
Over/Under getting a 2.5 round pick in return for him.....what say you?
Also talk that if Rantanen doesn't come to terms with Carolina, he may be on the move again. Wouldn't that be something
Yeah HF has always been a fantasy hockey community. It's entertaining in certain ways. Folks who take it too seriously don't usually stick around for too long. Some of these roster proposals are mind blowing. Filling half the team with new players and the other half with rookies who’ve never played in the NHL.
