Newhook had a better PPG then Hubredeau last year, is more likely to see his points grow, and is cheaper.Would you do Huberdeau for Newhook if we only pay 5/per for JH.

Need a Perry typeHughes better start doing something about adding more size, more bite and more toughness on that team.
Beside Xhekaj, nobody is standing for anybody. No identity on this team.
Get f***ing creative bald dude.

Kessel brings zero toughness, I'd go after ClutterbuckVeteran F Kessel open to PTO as he looks to continue career | TSN
Despite not playing at all last season, Phil Kessel is not ready to hang up his skates just yet. TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports that Kessel is still looking to continue his NHL career and is open to taking a diminished role with a team.www.tsn.ca
Just pull the trigger and do it right now before another team wakes up and grabs him.

Tuch and Florian are going to Laval given the latest cuts.Tuch and Florian with Pezz should be fine

My thoughts too but I think we’d need more then 100k extra for him to not go to a “contender”Let's just offer Pacioretty 100k more than what the Leafs offer him
So that he can stand pat and do nothing when his team mates are run over too?Let's just offer Pacioretty 100k more than what the Leafs offer him
I think he'd forgo the additional 100k just to avoid the headache of Montreal media, and the taxes.Let's just offer Pacioretty 100k more than what the Leafs offer him
Fighter are not the solution as you pointed out, but out bottom 6 need to play a more physical game. Fighting is not fun, but its over in less then 60 seconds, Being hit constantly for 60minutes, that is even less fun. This reminds me of when Montreal drafted McCarron after the Ottawa series. Adding a fighter doesn’t deter shit. Xhekaj, one of the premier heavy weights and n the league was in the lineup and it didn’t prevent it a 6’5”, big bodied player from getting injured. That’s not the answer.
Yeah, I’m sure you’re right.I imagine that ship has sailed.
This long standing and we'll established fact won't deter some from pining for moar fighters every time a player gets hurt, c'est la vie. This reminds me of when Montreal drafted McCarron after the Ottawa series.
