No, they wouldn't.. you need to offer a similar high pick prospect back (Dach) to be considered fair.. they are not going to give him away for chopped liver.
Yeah, there are going to be other teams that see big RD and throw their wallet at CBJ. Look at how these guys jump up during draft day. They are unicorns. CBJ is making a big mistake, but the player has reportedly been unhappy (I don't blame him). Even if it doesn't pan out, we need to take this risk.

Jiricek would make the most sense if we can switch him with a few young Dmen, so we can actually play the guy. Would the Jackets take Barron and Struble for him ?
Barron would make the most sense since both players are sitting in the stands and play RD.

But Hughes can ask Vincent about Jiricek. Having the player's coach from last season on staff is very valuable here.

I don't know enough about Jiricek's game. Anyone willing to describe it?

All I know about him is he's a big body RD who was taken 6th OA. And even though we have Reinbacher and Mailloux (and Barron), we can still use a RD, especially with Savard most likely traded sooner or later.

Here's a recent article with clips that describe Jiricek's game.

Jiricek’s perceived lack of pace is why CBJ apparently wants him to develop slowly in AHL

I always thought his game was comparable to Barron's (I honestly preferred Barron in his D+3 season), but I don't feel that strongly in that take to argue it very hard.

There's a Sportsnet Article from a former Amateur scout that offers an opinion with deeper analysis:

Jiricek is definitely as much of a project at this point as Mailloux is, people do need to keep that in mind. The tools are there but the toolbox is still a bit suspect. I like him enough to take a chance, but he needs a lot of work.

That's like 2 3rd rounders, maybe a 2nd and a 3rd rounder for Jiricek.

Barron/Struble might be involved, but they're a minor piece.

Why would Columbus let go of Jiricek for anything less than what we'd expect for Reinbacher?
It's downright questionable to think garbage like Barron, Struble, etc. is anywhere close.
You think they'd play Barron if they'd rather sit Jiricek? Barron!?
Come on guys, do better.

I don't think we even enter the discussion with assets below Newhook or CGY 1st++ in value.

I would, yes.

Coveted right shot, lot of potential, still very raw and young. You'd be insulating yourself against Mailloux busting with this move. I can't think of a single RD in this upcoming draft that I'd take over Jiricek. Hensler would be closest and the offensive difference is a chasm.
I’d love to get Charlie Trethewey, as I feel like he will be a very solid all around NHL player. Checks all the boxes to me - elite puck moving skills, good size, solid skater, great vision, terrific shot, physical, solid in all zones.

He’s similar to a right hand shot version of Guhle, and I think would be the perfect complement for Hutson down the road.

I’m a fan of Jiricek so I can understand what you’re saying, but I’d rather keep my assets and draft Trethewey for free.
