Team needs to work on acquiring 3 veteran 4th liners that are stapled on that line imo, it's something we've been lacking for probably a decade
No they don't need to. They have Tuch, Xhekaj, Davidson etc to fill that or other roles. They don't need vets blocking them. A tough guy to add to the 4th line for a year or 2 would be good.

Might be caused by all the people all asking for skillz and the team ending up with nobody with the skillset for the 4th line...

More likely because no team in the NHL has a consistent 4th line and Montreal is more concerned with development than worrying about winning games.

We don't need to unload Gallagher. Cap issues during his term left is not a problem at all and our cap frees up even more after this season. Potential cap issues comes when we have to extend Demidov, Hutson, Dach, Reinbacher etc.
Hutson and Dach will get pay raises in the 3rd year of Gallagher and Anderson's contracts. That might cause problems.
It will depend on a lot of things, mainly if they keep Laine and Matheson beyond their current contracts.

Some players have a better agent than others ... or an agent who has some private pictures of GMs.
We need to find the Diddy/GM of the league and send him those pictures, then single handedly trade for his top F and top RD for a 2nd and Dvorak

Who's spot is Tuch taking next year? Or do you see Hugjes making a trade to create a spot for him?

Caufield- Suzuki - Slaf
Laine - Dach - Demidov
Gallagher - Newhook - Anderson
Heineman - Kapanen - Roy
Beck? Evans?

Even without Dvo and Armia we're looking pretty full.

As @MarkovsKnee suggested recently, Bech & Tuch will likely replace Armia & Dvorak

Ok, but who's spots are Beck and Tuch taking: Heineman, Newhook, Roy, Kapanen, Evan's? Because if Becka and Tuch are in the top 12, 2 of those players aren't - even with Dvo and Armia gone.

Exactly the type of player that we need? Nah, we believe in Justin Barron!
From what I read today in this this (or the Mailloux's thread?), he's pretty similar to Mailloux (slightly different positives/negatives) but haven't shown much improvements these last two seasons.

The conclusion was that they are redundant and Habs are probably better off with Mailloux then Jiricek.

It won't. Dach will sign a contract similar to Guhle. Hutson will probably sign a contract around 7m.

Also Gally is one major injury from retiring to LTIR. Gally and Anderson contract won't be a problem.

Jiriceck is more talented than Mailloux
