I doubt Fabbro is better than himSending Xhekaj down could be good for him, as it was last year.

based on what non-habs fans are saying about DF he's absolutely better than XI doubt Fabbro is better than him
He's definitely better than Barronbased on what non-habs fans are saying about DF he's absolutely better than X
Or they could just be wrong. Remember when we all wanted to waive Kulak instead of Mete and that Mete could be decent elsewhere? How did that turn out?based on what non-habs fans are saying about DF he's absolutely better than X
Maybe not, though I think he is right now.I doubt Fabbro is better than him (Xhekaj)
Barron's been scratched for four games. It's more likely they don't see Fabbro as better than Struble or Xhekaj.this none moves somewhat screams to me that they got to close to Barron and are too scared to move on from an asset they acquired. At this point, they arent ready to admit the mistake and are doubling down
How short term? What if Dach gets the rust out pretty soon?I think they should have claimed Fabbro but at this point, the most concerning part of the team is Jake Evans as second line center
They really need to find a short term tweener to fill the role
I thought The Habs would claim him but maybe HuGo have trade talks going on which makes DF not necessary.Hughes... For shame. After my other team botched the claim, we had a free asset ripe for the taking.
If we didn't have 7 dmen he would have been claimed. They want to keep giving Barron chances for whatever reason which is why he got a 2 year contract instead of 1.Maybe not, though I think he is right now.
But Fabbro plays the right side, which would have allowed Guhle to move back left, which seems to be something many fans want.
And Xhekaj could use big minutes and responsibility in Laval.
Finally, Fabbro might have helped help once Savard is moved.
But we can still send Arber down if we bring Mailloux up.

The guy was part of the healthy scratch rotation with us and incredibly soft for a big man. He was a fine #7 dman but obviously had no future here. Good for him for playing well but I'd say it's more likely that he's on a great stretch rather than him turning from a journeyman into a stud defensive dman overnight.Kovacevic's trade is hurting….
New Jersey found a way to get the best out of him…. Not MSL.The guy was part of the healthy scratch rotation with us and incredibly soft for a big man. So you think both the Habs and Jets failed to see the stud defensive dman he is and that this is not just a really good stretch for him?New Jersey found a way to get the best out of him…. Not MSL.

Very surprised we didn't put in a claim. My guess is that they didn't want to send anyone down but I'd disagree if that was the thought, there's a few who could use more time in the AHL (Struble and Arber come to mind)
A pick was used in this summer's draft to move up in the first round and select Hage.So many draft picks , yet we are using none to make trades , except for 1st rounders that didnt work out in their drafted team.
But we can't use 2 2nds to get better.
didnt know we got better from thisA pick was used in this summer's draft to move up in the first round and select Hage.
Dach is a 23 year old center with size who can carry the puck. Arguably our best player just 13 months ago. If not best, top 2-3 for sure. Patience! At this point Dach isnt even a center
