Their fans still think that Monahan is an average 4th line player who can't produce at 5on5.
They don't acknowledge he's playing with some AHL level player most of the night.

Or
“A” prospect (pick in the 1st) + 3rd or 4th
If there isn’t any cap dump involved I think that what we can expect for Monahan maybe there a 5th going along with Monahan.
Don’t think it is we get a 1st + A prospect

I hope we don't just aim for a first for Monahan but an actual legit top 6 prospect, not one that we draft with a chance at becoming one.

How is that not the major contingency in a prospective negotiation for Monahan?
Their more vocal fans are pretty disconnected from reality

Peg fans better realize I need to pay up if they want to get to the final
again, alll I want is a forward with top 6 potential who is on the verge of graduating. I’d even add assets to get it.

Lindholm is a good player... having an off year on a very disappointing team. I don't think we will get quite as much for Monahan.

There were other suitors for Lindholm and the only way Rutherford was going to be first was to overpay. That and the scarcity of C in the market.

yes and cheveldayoff is also known as a cheapskate and very difficult negotiator. He schooled blake for PLD. Hughes has his work cut out for him.
