Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I think one thing is certain, the Insiders, have zero on what is coming down from Montreal
They just speculate the same way HF does.........................Hughes is as tight lipped as Gainey.

Arizona looks pretty good this year.
Their first 3 lines looks good ,good enough to start thinking of making the playoff.
But their defense on the other hand not soo good for next year.
I really like Crouse, could we trade a Defense for Crouse if so whom ?
Moser and Dumba will do great
but the rest is mediocre.
Goalie is not there as well .
Could a Petry or Savard be in interest for ARI ?
Could Allen or desmith be as well ?
Savard/Petry + Allen/Desmith + Farrell + 2nd for Crouse ??

NO. I woudn't trade Farrell straight up for Crouse.
Way too much for a guy with a $4.3M x 4 contract. The two d-men listed have value, deSmith has value, the 2nd is unnecessary to add.
If they want to pick one of Farrell OR the 2nd rounder, they can have Allen for a 4th (no retention), and Armia for free.

Petry & Kuz give the stars an upgrade over Suter/Faska & a bump in firepower to better match Oilers/knights in the West.
To Habs
Stars conditional '24 1st (goes to 2nd if they don't make 2nd round),
Bs '25 2nd (via caps), Mantha
Habs move Petry/Dvorak & their additional term, take Mantha back (who likely gets moved by deadline with last retention spot for more draft collateral).
Add two decent picks in the process setting them up nicely to be aggressive next offseason (cap flex & pick assets to target talent upgrades via trade)

Caps move disgruntled Kuz & dissapointing Mantha while adding 3 vet pieces that bolster their short term depth while only giving up a 2nd.

We got rid of Hoffman and we gained a 2nd rounder — we’re already ahead. We don’t need a 1st to declare it a great outcome even if it’s always nice to nab wherever you can get it.
