I've read over the course of the few days that some think Seeler would get traded, WOW!

Also Emily Kaplan says JVR is likely gone.

Philly Hockey Now or whatever Sam C's new site is says that Kevin Hayes is getting interest to move back at center for a contending team....probably boston

Two more weeks and the logjam will break.

Beleive nothing until you see something.

These incompetent assholes haven’t made a single good addition or subtraction in their entire time here, they’re not going to suddenly be competent this trade deadline.
until Fletcher officaly isnt a buyer at the trade deadline im sticking to believing hes gunna try to buy.

Friedman mentions JVR to Minnesota as a possibility

27. Also: James van Riemsdyk in Minnesota. The Wild are looking for scoring.

I may be dumb or just too lazy to get to the bottom of it, but who did the Rangers end up getting for Hayes?

edit: nevermind I figured it out...the first rounder went back to WPG for Trouba

Yes, I remember last year when FLetcher was totally fleeced into taking Tippett , a 1st and a 3rd.
Tippett has been a failure, merely on pace for 20+ goals, 35+ ES points, struggles with his skating.
So I'm sure we'll end up with another loser.

The parameters of trades are fairly well known, there's a history of what teams have given at the TDL.

JVR will garner at least a 2nd, it would have been nice if he finished a couple of those chances, a hot streak over the next few weeks would up his value, b/c teams are trading for what he might do the next 20 games and the playoffs, not next season.

Seeler might get a 3rd or 4th. Braun a 6th or 7th, Brown 6th to 7th.

Last year
Toffoli for 1st rd pick, Heineman (#43-2020)
Rakell, 2nd rd pick, Austin-Reese, Simon
Copp (& 6th rd), (2) 2nd rd picks, 5th rd pick, Barron (40g with Winnipeg this season)
Lehkonen 2nd rd pick, Barron
Jarnkok 2nd, 3rd, 7th
Deslauriers 3rd rd pick
Vatrano 4th rd pick
Appleton 4th rd pick
Brassard 4th rd pick
Little 4th rd pick
Motte 4th rd pick
Sanford 5th rd pick
Cogliano 5th rd pick
Carpenter 5th rd pick
Namestnikov 5th rd

Lindholm for 1st (2) 2nds, Vaakanainen (#18-2017)
Chariot 1st, 4th, Smilanic
Giordano (2) 2nd rd, 3rd rd
Manson 2nd rd pick, Helleson (#47-2019)
Lyubushkin for Ritchie, 2nd rd pick
Leddy 2nd rd pick
Kukak 2nd rd pick
Moore 2nd rd pick (and Dadonov as salary dump)
Lauzon 2nd rd
Braun 3rd rd pick
Hamonic 3rd rd
Dermott 3rd rd
Brown 5th rd pick, Senyshyn (former #15)
Hagg 6th rd
Stecher 7th rd

This is all well and good if we have a GM other than Fletcher who gets beat on every trade.

And this year he has even more value thanks to his great contract. :sarcasm:
