Vancouver trading Horvat? Why does every other team know what to do except us
First year was 1979-1980He played the bulk of his career in the 80s and 90s child.
Horvat's in the last year of his contract.Vancouver trading Horvat? Why does every other team know what to do except us
I'm surprised at how quiet things are. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing......
Fletcher is lazy.
I will take a bag of pucks for Braun
Yeah that goes without saying. I'm also wondering if Briere is maybe getting more work on that side of things. Maybe Briere has an idea of what the costs and going rates are and he's trying to keep Mr Entertainment from making a bad decision. I don't know. I have to grasp at something positive happening to the franchise. The happiest would be hearing that all the senior advisors are retiring and the GM is leaving, but we all know that isn't happening, so I'll take smaller victories elsewhere. My God, that sounds pathetic.......Fletcher is lazy.

But when you have multiple big pieces to move its prob best to not wait until the last week...Most moves occur within a week of the TDL.
Buyers want to be sure they need to buy and it reduces the cap hit for the last quarter of the season (PO are free).
So don't expect a lot of action until the last week in February.
The all star game is usually a breeding ground for rumors and any ufa or players looking to move who go definitely try to showcase themselvesHow many total trades have been made in the NHL since the start of the season?
Almost none, & certainly no significant names/salaries.
Fact is, the trade market continues to be stymied by the flat cap, & the cap forces teams to wait until as late in the season as possible to acquire players.
I agree, Laughton, jvr, Hayes, provy, brown, Braun all should be in play at the deadline, provy may not happen until the draft, but there's a chance he could go to a playoff teamMove Laughton. Value is highest it’s ever been. Cheaper version in Cates on the roster.
JVR gone
the thing is i think the horvat trade is more of a desperation move to get the islanders to the playoffs or lou will probably be fired because they dont have the cap space to resign him.How many total trades have been made in the NHL since the start of the season?

I don't see Hart returning enough to make a trade worthwhile because goaltenders continue to be undervalued with the whole "goalies are voodoo" mindset. Plus, until the specific players under the Team Canada investigation are named, I expect that those who have not been emphatic and specific in their denials will have an asterisk on many GMs' trade target lists.TK and Hart should be first on the list, but management doesn't have the nuts or the clue to do it. Once again you're all lucky I'm not gm
I'm not sure what the Isles' cap situation is this summer. I know they've wanted to dump Beauvillier's salary for a while, and they did as part of the Horvat trade. Varlamov is another $5M that can come off the books this summer.the thing is i think the horvat trade is more of a desperation move to get the islanders to the playoffs or lou will probably be fired because they dont have the cap space to resign him.
I kind of forgot about that situation. The revelation that Hart was involves definitely feels like the poopoo de resistance for this seasonI don't see Hart returning enough to make a trade worthwhile because goaltenders continue to be undervalued with the whole "goalies are voodoo" mindset. Translation.I protest this statement as no one has a remotely intimidating presence on this team most of all in the on ice matchups but secondly when the gloves are off
Dlo is an overpaid gamer macewen is an enthusiastic energy guy and risto is better with the puck than without it.
This team shouldn't be trying to be that kind of tough we don't have the ponies
Call me naive but I don't expect him to be among the suspects, and what he said was perfectly fair and legally sound. And the furor certainly has died down after the HC executive got the boot, but there eventually needs to be resolution in this case that begins with names attached to the accusations.I kind of forgot about that situation. The revelation that Hart was involves definitely feels like the poopoo de resistance for this season
They'd definitely get the best return, problem is it still likely wouldn't be enough to make an impact and even if they aren't competitive for a few years we still will need them at some point. I'd hang on to them unless the offer was insane and trade anyone else of value 25 or more years old.TK and Hart should be first on the list, but management doesn't have the nuts or the clue to do it. That's what they said in 2021.Move Laughton. Value is highest it’s ever been.
