I guess they needed to free up cap or a 1st line roster spot for something big like Vanek? They have a lot of cap space so it's probably the latter. we'll just have to see!

Scrivens / Fasth seems like a decent duo of former backups, both with some starter experience. Goaltending has always been a problem for EDM. They just need to get their defense squared the hell out.
