As this year's TDL comes to a close and KA speaks, I'm done with my (likely poor) attempt at an homage to @Buffaloed. I wish everyone all the best. Go Sabres!
The place is over the terrible ahlers in the bottom pairnot if you dont have a place for those talents to be used, then he ends up in the press box
adams im completely emotionally involved with the people in the locker
oh god kill me he'll never move a roster player
KA: Asked if Arizona was asking for more from him for Chychrun than they got from Otw..KA pauses and says your words not mine...am I allowed to say this... finally says yesIs it over?
to do what? play d zone starts? play 14mins a night? penalty kill? The place is over the terrible ahlers in the bottom pair
Lol Armstrong is such an idiot. I feel bad for being so mad about ChyrchunKA: Asked if Arizona was asking for more from him for Chychrun than they got from Otw..KA pauses and say your works not mine...am I allowed to say this... finally says yes
reporter is fair to say those were your prospects instead of picks, KA, Yes
if I was to read between the lines, and this might require a very good pair of glassesKA: Asked if Arizona was asking for more from him for Chychrun than they got from Otw..KA pauses and say your works not mine...am I allowed to say this... finally says yes

Sounds like he confirmed that he was in on Chychrun until the end.KA: Asked if Arizona was asking for more from him for Chychrun than they got from Otw..KA pauses and say your works not mine...am I allowed to say this... finally says yes

Apparently there was interest in Seeler also, and Fletcher hung on to him as well.It is unbelievably funny that Philly didn’t move JVR
I wouldn't be shocked if Armstrong wouldn't budge on wanting Savoie or Kulich. My guess is Savoie given his familiarity with Geekie.if I was to read between the lines, and this might require a very good pair of glasses
Admas just said that Bill Armstrong was being an ass and other GMs abandoned the trade talks because of it
And now, due to his stubbornness, he has magic beans instead. 5head move.Apparently there was interest in Seeler also, and Fletcher hung on to him as well.

Ideally, no, he’d eat more minutes so that the players better suited to those roles could fill them without being taxed. But when pressed into service, I don’t expect a significant drop-off from those players that aren’t NHL caliber.to do what? play d zone starts? play 14mins a night? penalty kill?
none of those rolls fit anything klingberg does except that he'd dramatically reduce the amount of time we'd spend shorthanded, and not in the way you want
I haven't listened to the presser yet - but i find it hard to believe that Arizona wouldn't take a similar (slightly better) package from another team than what they settled for. It just makes no sense.if I was to read between the lines, and this might require a very good pair of glasses

Armstrong was attempting to strong arm people and eventually everyone just walked away and you can't put Chychrun back into the lineup after a 3 week benching for a trade, so he goes to ottawa for that package, Adams long way confirmed that trade package was not offered to Buffalo
Humans are emotional animals.I haven't listened to the presser yet - but i find it hard to believe that Arizona wouldn't take a similar (slightly better) package from another team than what they settled for. It just makes no sense.
genuinely it sounded to me like adams and armstrong had a fight about value and neither team was willing to reengage at what ottawa gotI haven't listened to the presser yet - but i find it hard to believe that Arizona wouldn't take a similar (slightly better) package from another team than what they settled for. Could be he never budged from his ask until KA and other GM's told him to pound sand and he took what was left.I haven't listened to the presser yet - but i find it hard to believe that Arizona wouldn't take a similar (slightly better) package from another team than what they settled for. It does though. Especially when you're talking about Arizona. They had no interest in adding players or prospects as that costs money. Picks is what they wanted.I haven't listened to the presser yet - but i find it hard to believe that Arizona wouldn't take a similar (slightly better) package from another team than what they settled for. It doesn't fill me with confidence. For all we know - Adams could have been acting equally emotional and cost himself an opportunity at improving his team as a result.genuinely it sounded to me like adams and armstrong had a fight about value and neither team was willing to reengage at what ottawa got
whose fault it was I dont know but the sabres are the one sands a chychrun and arizona got a shit package for him
lose lose all around
reminds of when burke said he doesnt trade with some teams because he doesnt like the gm, I dont like hearing that my GM couldnt get a deal done because he couldnt manage the personalities, but its possible armstrong went full tropic thunder so im going to stop referring to him as kevin fat crayons, at least for the short term
but i really like the name fat crayon so be on the lookout for the next candidate
And didn't want to give up anything of value.Sounds like he confirmed that he was in on Chychrun until the end.
Right. Then offer a slightly better package of picks than Ottawa did to get it done....It does though. Especially when you're talking about Arizona. They had no interest in adding players or prospects as that costs money. Picks is what they wanted.
didnt hear that at allAnd didn't want to give up anything of value.
They had no interest in trading this year's first. They offered prospects instead.Right. Then offer a slightly better package of picks than Ottawa did to get it done....
