Mitts replacement? Never played 82 games, though.
Not right now. Adding for the stretch run and the going forward perhaps.

Read to me as please buy tickets. This kinda reads to me as "please don't freak out if we don't make a move" lol
I disagree with this idea that all these teams making trades right now are screwed because of it. They will win in the near term. Thier winning rosters will help develop the one player a year they bring up. At some point the smart ones will sell a few of their aging players before they lose value for a return of prospects and picks that replenish their pool. Its not a death sentence for a good GM.I do enjoy the East spending valuable draft capital now I will say. The East may be stacked but in a few years it’ll be our time to shine with some of these other top teams aging, running into cap issues, and having less high draft picks to rectify. It’ll be something that gives us an advantage in the 4-8 years time frame.
Yes, Nylander is the gift that keeps on giving.Didnt Chicago trade Alex Nylander for Lafferty ?
I agree. I have the feeling that GMKA puts an offer down and if they take it, great. If not, he is happy with developing through drafting. He isn’t going to blink. If Buffalo and Arizona are in a game of chicken over Chychrun, then Arizona is going to lose that game. I get the sense that we’re totally fine going ahead with what we have.
I think Pegula will command him to do what he has to do to save family friend Chychrun from Arizona.I agree. I have the feeling that GMKA puts an offer down and if they take it, great. If not, he is happy with developing through drafting. He isn’t going to blink.
We’re lucky it’s not a game of stupid then. Because what we have, and have in the pipeline, is horrible. If Buffalo and Arizona are in a game of chicken over Chychrun, then Arizona is going to lose that game. I get the sense that we’re totally fine going ahead with what we have.
1st, 2nd and any 2 prospects not named Rosen, Kulich, Ostlund and Savioe or 2 2ndsI think Pegula will command him to do what he has to do to save family friend Chychrun from Arizona.
I breathe easy knowing we have Dahlin, Power, and Samuelsson for the foreseeable future. Just need a #4 and a good bottom pairing guy. We’re lucky it’s not a game of stupid then. Because what we have, and have in the pipeline, is horrible.

Yea we get it. You are not happy. When teams like Toronto, Tampa, Jersey, Islander all make moves for players to help them in the future As well as today…does that mean that our future wait gets extended further? If we sit still…and the East goes crazy adding for next year already…doesn’t that just keep the “not our time yet” argument rolling another year?
These teams aren’t buying all expiring assets. They’re getting players to help them longer term as well. If we never start competing do we never have to try to compete.
The prospects aren’t helping next year either. They’re missing half a D core. The goalies under contact are a disaster. When does this stuff start getting fixed?
A desperate argument is invoking NYI and TB as teams that will be better in the future and prevent Buffalo from thinking "the time is now". Hell, even Toronto is going down hill soon.Yea we get it. You are not happy.
He is not a rental... and he will sign with NJ . Book it.
Not to mention incoming we have Johnson, who is probably better than Bryson or Clague right now even if marginally. An upgrade on Jokiharju is much welcomed. Solidify that top 4.I breathe easy knowing we have Dahlin, Power, and Samuelsson for the foreseeable future. Just need a #4 and a good bottom pairing guy.
Toronto traded 2 1st and 2 2nds their only long term asset back is Jake McCabe. A player half of Buffalo tried running out on a rail, and whom if he was still here would still be a whipping boy any time they lost.
lafferty is a decent bottom 6
but Mccabe suddenly being better than in buffalo is laughable. He will become Toronto whipping boy.
