I'd prefer not to see any of Orlevis, Kloff, Williams, Moreno, Hiraldo, Brown, or de Castro.

I have a bad feeling it might be Pardinho.

Orelvis is way above the rest of those guys, so we shouldn't be concerned about him being there.

Ross Stripling first 3 starts vs next 4:
First 3:
3-0, 18 IP, 16 Ks and 4 Walks. 4 ERA and 4.35 FIP (all caught by Will Smith) 0.3 fWAR
Last 4:
0-1, 15.2 IP, 11 Ks and 7 Walks. 7.47 ERA and 10.54 FIP (3 Caught by Barnes and 1 by Smith) -0.8 fWAR

Stripling normally caught by Barnes and Grandal in 2018 and 2019, elite catchers. Barnes' defensive has always been elite, this season has been one of his worst by his standards.

Once Smith went to the IL, Stripling's numbers went in the trash with Barnes. Jansen is near top of the league, he might help Stirpling.

Did the Jays actually give up Conine for Villar? Sportsnet reporting it’s a PTBNL.

You cannot trade players who aren't on the 60 man player pool right now. Everyone's been loopholing their way around it by trading them as PTBNL and later will be after the world series ends. Conine isn't on the Jays 60 man pool so this is almost certainly what's happening here.

Wow, im listening to Tim and Sid praising Ross and Shapiro after years of senseless trashing. They are talking down the 2015 and 2016 playoff teams saying "that is not how you build team" inferring the "short sided moves" and all power roster construction.

Like they are praising them like Gods. Never thought i would see the day.

btw it is way too early praise Ross and Mark. The build and rebuild were great but the Jays need to make the playoffs this year and in a full 162 season before they get my "praise".

Tim and Sid changed their narrative. If we weren't heading in a good direction, they would stick to the original narrative.

I'm liking how this team is shaping up, they got 5 farm system and even if the core is really young, it really feels like they have had a chance to win every game this season and that's all you can ask for, hopefully that continues.

It's nice to have depth and not have the Bolsingers, Jackson's and Feierabend's of the past.
