Next year, as in December 2021.

Oh ok. The way the guy asked it sounded like he was referring to needing protection for next year, meaning this coming rule 5. I doubt anyone would be asking if he needed protection for 2 offseasons from now.

Soon as I read the Dodgers were heavily in on Lynn I knew it was over lol I feel they will offer whatever it takes to get who they want.

Why do people think we're still in on Lynn? If we were going to get Lynn we likely wouldn't have gotten Ray. We needed another arm but someone to hold us over until Shoemaker or Pearson is back made sense. That was our, we're out on Lynn move. We weren't getting Ray to have him pitch out of the pen.

Charlie, it's time to put in your ace pitcher.

Panik.

I like both these pickups by the Jays.

Ray coming in on the cheap. Buying on the low to see if he can find his game again. Solid swing and miss guy that may have made too many tweaks to his mechanics and lost his control.

Villar can move around the infield, bats switch and has a great arm. Bottom of the order bat but seeing Charlies love for some of his players that likely don’t deserve that much attention... Villar may be his new favourite.

But he is far better than Panik, so its a win.

If Griffin Conine were named Griffin Smith instead he wouldn't be nearly as well regarded by the fanbase.

That K rate is EXTREMELY concerning. Especially that low in the minors.

He feels like jb woodman part 2

Smith? Like as in Ozzie Smith? Can’t believe we traded Ozzie Smith’s son!

If this is it, happy with the moves. We improved and solved needs, while our competition didn't.
