I call it cretin logic. There are a lot of expressions like these.

I don't know, I have confidence. That being said I actually like MT so I can understand how we will disagree on the subject.

Okay you like MT what will he do if our top line is a bust again this year.
Treat it like our PP and keep trotting them out there?

I'm seriously afraid MT can't take us much further for lack of flexibility...

That's my biggest fear too.

I feel like Gilbert will be the odd man out. At least to start the playoffs.

I don't know he was really solid the last couple of weeks...

Gonchar got experience, but that nasty concussion might take a toll on him...

I think they'll start with Emelin and Gilbert... and almost have Gonchar on the bench has an assistant coach :yo:

Pacioretty - DD - Gallagher
Eller - Plekanec - Galchenyuk

Two players aren't good enough to be in the top 6, and two players are playing out of position. One player happens to be in both those categories.

Our top 6 is pretty hurting. Not a knock on MB because obviously there just wasn't a market for top 6 forwards, but our top 6 is a weak point for this team.

I agree that Gallagher and DD aren't top 6 materials. That's why I said "ain't that bad" because of Patches, Chuckie and Pleky. But yeah, we're two TOP 6 wingers away from greatness.

I get what you are saying but at the end of the day if the first line is a bust yes MT has a certain level of responsibility. That being said it is up to each individual player to step up and fill the gaps, we aren't the only team who doesn't have an amazing offense. We have CP, that is a huge advantage. We will see in due time.

I still love this team, I just wanted more today. Luckily Bergevin is running the Habs and not me.:laugh: He said this would be a transition year but with the season Price is having why not go all in? It's a shame to waste it, I watched Roy from day one and I tell you that Price is in the same category or higher. I wanted a goal scorer but maybe the price was way to high, who knows? Go Habs!!!

Gallagher is on pace for 50 points and he isn't a top 6 material.

according to Pierre McGuire there were a lot of rumors that the Habs were trying to get Anisimov. Suggests that Eller might have gone the other way.

Tough call particularly those two.
Gonch has a far better head for hockey.
Gilbert is super competitve and thrills me with his give away take back type of play.

Yup. He also says it's likely we'll revisit the trade in the summer.

Lol the clowns spent 3 months prattling on about how Eller was being shopped.

They're just covering their ***** now.

I don't think he ever was either, Eller is a good player that has had to do some heaving lifting at the sacrifice of stats. He is a good player and I am glad he is still here.

At what point does it have to prepare us for the return of DLR in Hamilton? Can they actually do that? I think it's impossible....I do believe that Therrien will lie down in front of DLR car to make it impossible for him to leave but.....possible?

In french, bergevin said pretty much DLR is going nowhere. and that was expected
