Ritchie is gonna be a good one.

What a circus for Mikko.....deal, no deal, deal, no deal.
The real pisser is all these tax free states are able to keep attracting all the top guys. Really grabs the nuts of all the other teams and forces overpayment.
Everyone has no value when Hughes doesn’t sell them. What do you want him to do? Dvo, Armia, Pez, Primeau, Gally, have no value. Savard is the interesting piece teams have already inquired about and Matheson is untouchable.
Right they get rantanen for freeRobertson-Hintz-Granlund
Marchment-Duchene-Rantanen
Benn-Johnston-Stankoven
Back-Steel-Dadonov
That's like 3 1st lines and a 4th line
Ya love to see it.
The only real answer to that truth is tarriffs. What a circus for Mikko.....deal, no deal, deal, no deal.

Has Rantanen said thank you once ? No ? Let's trade him to the KHL.The only real answer to that truth is tarriffs.![]()
Cheeto would lose his mind lol.The only real answer to that truth is tarriffs.![]()
At least a 2nd in 2026 or 2027. And then you can sign him July 1st to roughly the same deal.I wonder how much value Jake Evans would have had today given big manes are off the board and teams like the Jets and Leafs are now scrambling
Yeah the only trade that makes sense to me for us is for Cozens and I don't see that happening. Too big of a deal to happen at the deadline and I don't see us giving up Hage.I really don't think we're gonna trade any veteran today. Dvorak, Savard and Armia would be the likeliest to go but we really don't have anyone ready to take their place and we already have an abundance of picks so better just keep them. I think they let Dvorak and Armia go this offseason and sign Savard for a short deal.
A trade for a 2C would be ideal but I very much doubt it happens, doesn't seem to be many available right now.
Last night on the Sick Podast, McGuire said he wouldn't be afraid to trade Hage for Cozens.
I was of the mind that HuGo wait for a true 2C of the future (I don’t mean Hage I mean someone now and in the future). I was against a ROR or Duchene stop-gap, but after last night, the need for a 2C TODAY is incontrovertible. If you can’t play a second line for half the game you can’t play hockey. If MSL doesn’t trust Beck, he will shorten the bench to 2 lines on the road for every 3rd period?
And while many here would be thrilled to move DVo for a 7th round pick, who would play center on that line? People need to think about what an actual lineup would look like. Bring up Florian to play C?It’s like saying, well if you can get two 2nds for Sam and Dobes. Do it. Roy can play in net.
And trade Matheson? Who plays his 20+ minutes a night?
Please HuGoA serviceable (top 75?) center. Damn, at this point we might be forced to get a winger and put Newhook at C.
This is not a drill.
Well then fold up the tent. The season is over.2Cs are going for top prospects and 1sts.. I'm not wading into the pool this deadline for a 2C.

So should we vastly overpay for someone we may not really want and/or they don't fit our club to play one playoff series? I think most want that #2C....but we need to plan accordingly.Well then fold up the tent. The season is over.
