Boyle would instantly make them the favorites in the West, IMO. Their weakness is the defense, no?

Why would DW trade for Hannan then if he's trading Boyle? We'd have no need for an 8th d for the playoff grind if we don't qualify for the playoffs.

When my source left for the SJ organization, he gave me the contact info of someone I could chat to. I haven't touched it since I don't know the guy, and I feel like it would be so awkward. But this week has made me feel like I shoudl get in touch.

I think, perhaps, it is because for once, the Sharks "winning" deadline deals. I am antcipating good returns.

I'm just waiting for DW to trade Burish for Kulikov (and a pick!).

Though, on a more serious note, SJ loves Kulikov. I could see them giving up their first for him.

Its the fourth line. The fourth line is much less important than the third defensive pair.

Sharks have 10 top-9 forwards (Thornton, Marleau, Pavelski, Havlat, Couture, Wingels, Sheppard, Galiardi, Gomez, Burns), with the caveat that Burns stays as a forward and Galiard/Sheppard don't regress. That is fairly good.
