- Ott cannot afford to acquire Rantanen, they can't afford his salary & they can't afford the raise he wants.
- I expect the one guy that Green wants is most likely Boeser who he had in Vancouver, but whether Boeser wants to stay in Canada is another story. I don't want them trading Norris for him, but if they can get him in the off season after they have moved out most of their UFAs to free up some extra money than Boeser makes some sense. They also don't need to keep him for the entirety of his new contract, at some point they might be able to move him out before the end of the deal should they want to. They could use him for the next few yrs when they are contenders.
- this team has played very few games with a complete healthy lineup this yr & if they could that would be similar to getting a new guy or two. We need Perron & Amadio to start producing more for their lines & Batherson to snap out of it & Norris to return to scoring form. If that second line could start producing it would make a huge difference for this team.
- IMO they really just need a big enforcer type to take care of the Wilsons, Reaves & Xhekajs so Brady doesn't need to.

The third is conditional on the Avalanche winning the cup with Nelson playing in at least half of the games. So it is a nice little bonus, but unlikely to transfer just based on the probability of any one team winning the cup.

It's basically two 1sts for a rental. It would probably be like us giving up a 2027 1st, Ostapchuk, and a 3rd.

Maybe Colorado believes that they can re-sign him.

Ritchie is a very good prospect though. Like way better than Ostapchuk.

Sharks just traded another Goalie, assuming they’ll need another one. Leevi has nothing else left to prove, he’s dominated in the AHL and shown that he can play in the NHL level. He can learn a lot from Ullmark, we can have a 1a 1b tandem.

OTT: G Forsberg
SJS: F Kunin

Tkachuk - Stutzle - Kunin
Perron - Norris - Batherson
Giroux - Pinto - Amadio
Gregor - Grieg - Gaudette

Sanderson - Zub
Chabot - Jensen
Kleven - Matinpalo

Ullmark, Merilainen

Cousins, Hamonic, JBD, Highmore,

I saw nick robertson up on the tsn trade bait list. I know everyone shits on him, but I think long term he's a player that can fill out his game and wouldn't break the bank.

Maybe build something around JBD or a pick to give them cap flexibility?

Nice pickup by Edmonton to get Walman, was impressed with his battle and no fear vs Brady. And he has 32 points which is surprising.

Nice playoff player - big Canadian boy, plays to win
