I don't think it makes sense to keep more than one of Matheson/Savard. Obviously I don't know the dynamics of the room and maybe that's where I'm wrong, but we gotta start clearing the way for all our dmen coming in

At some point sure but is that time today, or even this summer, not so sure. There's a strong case for Hutson, Reinbacher, and Mailloux all starting next season in the AHL. And in that case there are no incoming D next year, we'd have 8 guys including Barron which is a fairly normal number to have on the NHL roster.

Finishing 4th OV or 8th OV is a hell of a difference. If all the teams around us are trading assets to get worse and we dont. We will draft another so-so asset instead of a 1st line forward.
