A lot easier to barely play someone (yet still played more than Kulak both in games and ice time) when you have Hedman/McDonagh/Cernak/Sergachev compared to Weber/Petry/Chiarot/Edmundson. Our #5 dman played nearly 10 minutes less than our 2nd pair guys. Their #5 dman played nearly 6 minutes less than the 2nd pair. It's not really the same. Savard>Kulak.

IDK what to tell you, he's been good in Edmonton and was good here. Its not Edmonton's fault when the guys that would actually fix their issue aren't available.

There isn't any argument that he wasn't good in Montreal. Eye test, stats, trade value. None. Was he an ideal top-4 D? No. But he wasn't worth that or valued that either.
