Not only that, but a pick around 24th in 2024 is probably a top 20, top 18 pick in 2025 in terms of quality of the prospect there.
Uhh....no.
2024 does not have an edge over 2025.

So they paid the price of a centre to get Henrique and just put him on the wing?
Also funny that Desharnais is now on the 2nd pairing when someone kept telling me Ceci is good because Edmonton kept playing him with Nurse
He'd go willingly to Vancouver for sure, and probably to Seattle too. But he still has term and gets paid way too much for what he brings at this point in his career. I don't see any team being willing to take on 3 more years of whatever it is Gallagher is doing at $6.5 million per. In truth, he isn't worth half that anymore. and I doubt that the Canucks, Kraken or any team is thinking that they're just a Gallagher away from a Cup. He doesn't move the needle anymore.
I think your issue was you were playing bears and not in a beer league. You still got it.Just wait 2-3 years. I was playing amateur bear league only but when i was 33 i was still in my "prime" , at 35-36 i was still relatively close to my prime. At 38 i was mostly a defensive depth player. When i turned 40 overnight i was not able to play anymore (not competitively).
Versatility is nice, I just find a 1st a bit rich for a non-elite winger in this market when your biggest weakness is defence.Henrique isn't a pure center, he's played as much wing as center over his career. Having guys who can play both is important for competitive teams. It’s why Hughes has targeted guys like Dach and Newhook in trades.
I've got this bread tie - a proper plastic one! Not those flimsy annoying cardboard ones. You'll have to sweeten the deal a bit though.Anyone want to trade with me? I have this .
Only serious offers
Ill need half the loaf too. I really dont need to trade this paperclip. It supports the papers around it which is good for the whole office.I've got this bread tie - a proper plastic one! Not those flimsy annoying cardboard ones. You'll have to sweeten the deal a bit though.
Selling the Panthers short here. They were playing Nick Cousins in their Top 6 and now he’s being replaced by a 60 point former Cup winner.Cup going west again?
Tampa: 3rd wheel retainers
Toronto: washed up depth for mid picks
Boston: zzzz
Florida: washed up former star
Rangers: washed up bottom 6er
Hurricanes: zzzz
Flyers: dumping
Detroit: zzzz
Florida should easily come out of east. And don't dismiss them. They have a solid team.Cup going west again?

Edmundson was the worse defenseman in the league in the last decade, do you think hes actually good now? Its an amazing move for the leafs playoff streak.Nooooo not Eddy to Toronto!
The Byram trade stings. Wouldve loved to have him and Guhle on two pairs. I wonder if somethiny around Monahan could've been done had Hugo waited a bit. Mitts is better than Monahan at this point but idk...
