So they paid the price of a centre to get Henrique and just put him on the wing?

Also funny that Desharnais is now on the 2nd pairing when someone kept telling me Ceci is good because Edmonton kept playing him with Nurse

Henrique isn't a pure center, he's played as much wing as center over his career. Having guys who can play both is important for competitive teams. Its why Hughes has targeted guys like Dach and Newhook in trades.

He'd go willingly to Vancouver for sure, and probably to Seattle too. But he still has term and gets paid way too much for what he brings at this point in his career. I don't see any team being willing to take on 3 more years of whatever it is Gallagher is doing at $6.5 million per. In truth, he isn't worth half that anymore. and I doubt that the Canucks, Kraken or any team is thinking that they're just a Gallagher away from a Cup. He doesn't move the needle anymore.
Just wait 2-3 years. I was playing amateur bear league only but when i was 33 i was still in my "prime" , at 35-36 i was still relatively close to my prime. At 38 i was mostly a defensive depth player. When i turned 40 overnight i was not able to play anymore (not competitively).
I think your issue was you were playing bears and not in a beer league. You still got it. 🤣

Versatility is nice, I just find a 1st a bit rich for a non-elite winger in this market when your biggest weakness is defence.

Selling the Panthers short here. They were playing Nick Cousins in their Top 6 and now he’s being replaced by a 60 point former Cup winner.

Since mine talks I’ll require a few picks as a sweetener, but I’m definitely interested.

The Byram trade stings. Wouldve loved to have him and Guhle on two pairs. I wonder if somethiny around Monahan could've been done had Hugo waited a bit. Mitts is better than Monahan at this point but idk...

Ill need half the loaf too. I really dont need to trade this paperclip. It supports the papers around it which is good for the whole office.
Have you seen the price of bread these days!? Best I can do is the ends, but even then, I feel like I'm over paying here.
