If we are not trading 1-2 players for a star, i Dont understand why we are loading our bottom 6. King is a really good player. Better than everything on our 4th line. But STILL.

Dont mind King but at almost 2 mill cap hit is a bit steep.

Still, him on a fourth line is better than the powderpuff girls like Mitchell, Flynn, etc who just skate around hoping to go unnoticed in a game

Well Bergevin is certainly making us harder to play against, I guess. That's a nothing price for a good 4th liner.

Only problem is we have like 12 4th liners...if Bergevin could add scorers at the same rate he adds grinders we'd be set...

We HAD some of the best grinders. The grinders we have now are actually worse than many of the former grinders we had. Travis Moen, Brandon Prust, Maxim Lapierre. They racked up PIMs but they were also excellent skaters.

Now, it seems like any slow dude who looks like ruffian passes Bergevin's eyes as a "GUY YOU CAN WIN WITH" even though we only have three forwards on the team producing at more than a .5 ppg pace.

King is not a slow skater plus he's a hard nosed guy. We are building to be tough to play against and we sure as **** are. You guys kept crying that we we're small, now we got way bigger with Benn, Ott and King in our lineup instead of Mitchell, Flynn and Ghetto

Man I really hope Pacioretty, Galchenyuk and Radulov have some more goals left in the tank cause I'm not sure how the heck they are going to win any games without scoring.

this is defintely julien input.. with the bruins he always had a tough and rough team, especially the bottom 6.

no coincidence that since Julien has come in they got Benn, Ott, Davidson and King
