Puck moving has improved with these two moves but still think we need more team speed.

What is Kapanen projected to get? Could he work well as a 3rd line RW with speed?

Two thoughts this morning:

1. Dreger has never been less connected. A week ago he said he doesn't see Raddysh leaving Tampa.
2. We need to never doubt @Buckley again. He is our King. He told us we were winning the draft lotto and he told us we were signing Raddysh.

Like I said, this was told to me by others, so it has nothing to do with me. To be fair, it was also maybe the most obvious thing ever. It would be nice if it shut people up about the "no tax states!" nonsense, but I doubt it will.

I'd expect Rielly and Carlo traded to bring in different players. 4 new players on defense. But we'll see, maybe things change and Rielly doesn't go. I just don't see a world where they keep Carlo. I've been wrong before though.

Ryan Shea is an interesting UFA option if we move Rielly.

Gotta think at least one of those two move, as Andrae should be in the top 6.

Just a matter now of making (at least) one more move to comfortably fit in Andrae as one of the six. Given that we'd have the ideal mix of lefts and rights, and with a nice chunk of the offensive opportunities likely going to the newest addition...

McKenna and Raddysh is a great start before even hitting July 1st

New coach/system and Andrae too. More skill, puck movement, and a coach that's less likely to heavily promote pucks of glass as the default.

I'd like to see the Leafs find their own Shae like Pittsburgh did... but maybe he fits.

I like Andrae, good young addition, but do question whether he'll be top 6 out of the gate. I'd like to see more competition. One thing I'm worried about with Hiller is that he had a similar player in Spence and just didn't trust him with the Kings.

20 goals though and only 24 years old. Also I think Mercer can play center if needed. Future 3C? What would be a good return for McCabe?

I think he was drafted as a center but gets almost no usage that way. A trade for him would need to assume he is a winger.

We won't need to retain on Mo. Even without retention the 2nd should be coming back the other way. Offensive defensemen are extremely hard to find.
