I think theres a better than good chance that whole third line you have won't be on the team next year. Domi for health reasons but I think Prima Maccelli and Robertson are gone

Domi should never be a 3rd line center. Hopefully LTIR and when healed ...traded
Terrible defensively and disappears for long stretches. A big reason he has been let go by several teams. Leafs should do the same. A tweener. Can't play top six. Useless in bottom six.

The most minutes he played on one line was with Tavares - Nylander where he played LW but he played RW on a few different line combos.

Great player but trading for often injured players almost always backfires. You get them and commit cap space and then when the big moments come they aren’t even in the lineup which results in a playoff exit. This happened to the Raptors this year with Ingram and Quickley. Stay away from often injured players IMO.

I really think Backlund from Calgary would be a great option at 3C. 2 years left at $3.5 million, shutdown centre that is in Selke voting yearly. Would free up Matthews for more OZ deployment.

I wonder if Calgary is cool trading w Toronto now that Boston Pizza is gone.

He's a middle 6 LW, ideally 3rd line on a cup contender. If you're relying on Marchment for postseason scoring consistently you're not a good team. Depth like him might have one great series in a cup run. They're not amazing every series.
