Wondering what everyone's top 3 realistic targets are for tomorrow now that there is some clarity on buy-outs, RFA non-tenders and speculation on prime UFA targets?

Mine are Andrew Copp, Nick Leddy & Nick Deslauriers.

The Copp prediction is based on the Leafs moving out Kerfoot's money.
Ilya Samsonov or Eric Comrie
Brendan Lemieux or Nick Deslauriers
ZAR
Denis Malgin

If the Leafs move Kerfoot then I would predict Domi or Marchment.

Id assume tomorrow because his bonus is paid out.

I just don't see Dubas making some crazy move now. He keeps doubling down on this core.

They are crazy talented but they've done shit. At this point id be making more moves this summer to shake things up. Doubtful it happens.

Copp, deslauriers would be great adds.

I don’t mind cogliano for a 13th F, he has family in Toronto too and might take a cheap deal.

Any big bruiser #6 or 7d out there to play with sandin? I would prefer to trade muzzin and keep sandin.

It is probable that we will have 4-5 new forwards for the start of next year, and two new goalies. That's a third of the roster turned over. That's shaking things up to some degree.

True I just feel it will be fringe type of moves. We'll see. The next couple of weeks will tell a lot.

Murray's tandem partner maybe? Probably too expensive for that now...

To the Sens lol

Talbot would have been a decent option, but hardly anything to get worked up over. But I should know better.

Do you think getting Talbot and someone like Blackwood or another goalie of similar calibre like Jones in UFA is preferable to Murray or cheaper options in UFA? I know it's like 1M we're talking in cap hit but Talbot's durability has been good.

Or maybe they see value in Murray. Ottawa was rumoured before the trade to only be able to do 25% so it appears that a) trading to get a second retention was too pricy or b) they decided that the 17th most expensive cap hit for a goalie coming off a very good season was worth it to get for free + a 3rd.
I honestly hope they’re right cause we don’t seem to have room for another starter quality goalie if this gamble doesn’t pan out
