They have two options. Trade him to the Leafs or buy him out. If the Leafs are questioning the medical files that doesn't help a "clean buy out" scenario.

If we can somehow snag Formenton or Pinto in this deal then you have to give Dubas credit as that would be a great get. Formenton would slide right in as our second line LW or Pinto slides right in as our third line center.
