Toronto can keep him. I've maintained that Matthews would be the harder of the two to impress on re-signing and retaining his services, and Toronto has a better chance of doing that than Winnipeg. I'd rather take the equally skilled winger who has no pre-disposed illusions about playing in NA, and Winnipeg is closer to Finland in climate than Toronto is to Arizona, if that becomes an issue.
