End of the road trip, looming break, and worst of all — in Vancouver; this has scheduled loss written all over it. I shouldn’t complain too much because win, lose, or draw, this has been a successful road trip. But just for the novelty of it - if nothing else - please get 2 points in Vancouver. Please.

Off topic, I'm at the Marlies game right now.

A win would be a nice place to be psychologically - Right before the tournament as the league takes a break.

Lets gain a lead on Florida

Lets hope the vets in their 30s can recover and be in better shape for the playoffs!

Stolarz should rest. Just ease him back in.

Woll should play, but if he needs the rest after the starters workload im okay with it too.

Hildebeast in then!!

I’m in B.C too and a win would feel real nice. Not sure how healthy Hughes is feeling so if he’s off that’s a good deal.

Finish on a B.C high boys!

2 and 2 would have been a good trip, now they have the chance for some more gravy and the opportunity to remove any hope of anyone taking home ice from them in round 1.

Is Matt Benning not eligible to be called up? I'd like to see what he has to offer.

Agreed.

I will say though, that a part of me sees this as the same old Leafs. This is exactly what they would have done under Keefe, have a terrible run of games, then go on a roadie and win them all (remember California a few years back).

So, while this is great for sure, it does nothing to increase my expecatations come playoff time.

What does give me hope though is the goaltending. It is far superior to anything they have had in the past.

The only way they (the core) can redeem themselves is if they have a decent showing in the playoffs.

In the midst of a slump, I think Matty needs to actually cash tonight (score, in a big way) for this long-awaited Domi reunion experiment to ever have any legs again.

Just win this one

It can be anyway, just win and go into the 4 nation break on a good end

The fact that the Canucks canceled practice yesterday and morning skate today with all the added drama I feel like this a game they come out flying.
The Leafs have no killer instinct.
