Toronto to host 2024 NHL All Star Game

If the NHL players had a preference when it comes to Canadian cities to host an All Star Game, I'm sure they would pick Toronto before Edmonton or Winnipeg.

Worked in Vancouver from 2009-2012 , great city and beautiful province loved the Okanagan Valley, Whistler and Victoria Island.

November-February was a bit depressing if I recall because of the rain but other than that felt like any American city minus my TV stations TNT, ESPN, ECT.

Took my wife in 2019 on a road trip to Portland, Seattle and Vancouver BC she had a blast as well.

When I was younger, it really felt like the all-star games was for the fans. A chance to see so many star players playing together, dream lines and scenarios. I don't remember this type of backlash back then. Maybe it was youth. But it really does feel a bit self-entitled and no appreciation to the people paying their salaries. Definitely comes off as spoiled and complaining. Maybe the schedule is just too long and the grind to bad now. It should be an honor. But seems it's not now.

I don't actually care about the ASG, but living in the GTA yeah kinda cool that we are getting one. Will I attend? Probably not.

If you compare Toronto in terms of weather to other NHL cities like Buffalo for example, they can get snowstorms that are a lot worse.
